Immunoglobulin A Coating Identifies Colitogenic Bacteria in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

In a highly-cited article published in Cell, Drs. Flavell, Palm, de Zoete and colleagues demonstrated that bacterial members of the intestinal microbiota are differentially coated with IgA, and bacteria that are more heavily coated with IgA may be colitogenic in inflammatory bowel disease.
